Vault Investment - Help Guide
Overview
The Vault Investment system lets you lock your resources for time-based returns. Earn passive income through compound interest by choosing from three investment tiers: Basic (5% APY), Premium (12% APY), and Elite (25% APY). Higher returns require longer lock periods.
APY Explained: Annual Percentage Yield (APY) is the rate your investment grows per year with compound interest. A 12% APY means your 10,000 investment becomes approximately 11,200 after one year.
How It Works
- Choose a vault with available balance
- Select an investment tier (Basic, Premium, or Elite)
- Confirm the investment - your resources are locked for the tier's duration
- Interest compounds daily while locked
- Wait for the lock period to end, or withdraw early with a 10% penalty
- Withdraw your principal plus earned interest once unlocked
Investment Tiers
| Tier | APY | Lock Period | Minimum |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | 5% | 7 days | 1,000 |
| Premium | 12% | 30 days | 10,000 |
| Elite | 25% | 90 days | 50,000 |
Frequently Asked Questions
Basic Vault: 5% APY with 7-day lock. Premium Vault: 12% APY with 30-day lock. Elite Vault: 25% APY with 90-day lock. Higher returns require longer commitment.
Yes, but with a 10% penalty on the current value (principal + interest earned). If your investment is worth 11,000 and you withdraw early, you'll receive 9,900 after the 10% penalty. It's better to wait for the lock period to end.
No penalty at all! Once the lock period ends, your investment continues earning interest at the same APY rate indefinitely. You can withdraw anytime without penalty once unlocked.
Interest compounds daily using the formula: new_amount = principal × (1 + APY/365)^days. For example, a 10,000 investment at 12% APY for 30 days earns approximately 100 in interest.
